Trouble for Nils

A Tomte is a Scandinavian house gnome that lives in a farmhouse to help with the chores and watch over the children and animals.

Nils the Tomte in this story lives in the pantry of a farmhouse with two children and their Ma and Pa. Nils loves watching the children and helping with the family chores. But most of all, Nils loves Christmas!  At Christmastime, Nils loves all the Christmas traditions. 

Trouble comes to Nils one day when his family moves from the cozy farmhouse to an apartment in the city.  Nil’s world is turned upside down.

How will he adjust to his new life in the city?

Will he still be useful to his family?

And what will happen to the Christmas traditions?
